Though there are many health benefits of beer, a lot of health conscious people avoid the malty beverage due to it’s high calorific content. There has been a strong association between beer and beer belly, which makes people assume that beer is fattening or unhealthy for them. However, the truth is far from it. Beer is also known to be great for your digestive system. Beer, especially Dark Beer is known to contain soluble fiber which plays a major role in streamlining your digestive system. A deficiency of fiber in the bloodstream can lead to gastric and intestinal disorders such as Constipation and Diarrhea.

3) Lowers the Bad Blood Cholesterol:

According to a US Research it has been found out that Beer increases the longetivity of life! That gives me one more reason to go out to a pub after work and indulge myself in a pint!

One of my friends recommended me to marinate the meat in beer next time in order to make it the best way possible. According to her, marinating meat in beer while cooking it, kills around 70% of the total carcinogens found in the meat. It also decreases the risk of neurological diseases in people. Great advise i think!

Beer is also known the calm down if you are suffering from a stomach ache?! Yes, it works just the same way that a 7up or a Sprite works... with the fizz. Its a great buffer if you suffer from stomach ache!
