Uterus Stretching in Early Pregnancy. What does it mean?

Created On : March 20, 2015

As soon as the uterus grows, it presses the nerves in the legs of the mother to be. This may result in a tingling sensation across the legs and the toes. This sensation is very common and normal in pregnant women and goes away after the birth of the child. Pregnant women may also notice numbness and tingling sensation in the fingers, especially when they wake up in the morning. This tends to go away after the delivery of the child. This sensation can be very uncomfortable and the health care professional can provide the mother to be with a brace to wear during the night time.
