How to sleep for a long time

I am 26 year old man and I have short bouts of sleep. I tend to wake up in the middle of the night and then find it very tough to sleep. Can you recommend something which allows me to sleep for a long time?

I do not want to go in for sleeping pills at all.

Hi Sumit, I would say that you should be exercising on a regular basis, if you dont. Also, be active and drink a lot of water. get a good diet plan going for you and get your body clock right. Make sure that you have a fixed sleeping time. Keep your room dark when you try going to sleep. Keep away from all electronic devices such as phones or laptops when you try going to sleep. These all are going to boost up your REM sleep patterns. Hope this helps.

Yes, Sumit. Try working out on a regular basis and make sure that your diet is good. I am sure that this is going to help you to get your sleeping pattern right.

Sumeet, For me quitting coffee and tea helped to get a right sleep going. Try that if you drink a lot of coffee or tea
