And not to forget the harmful chemicals that we are inhaling every single day. Pesticides are very harmful to the body in the long run. Irritability, depression, food allergies, asthma and even cancer has been linked to over exposure of pesticides and chemicals in the body. They are especially harmful for small children whose body cannot handle the toxins.
Here are 5 simple and easy ways to get rid of pesticides from your body.
Go Organic and Top Up on Pectin
Switching on to organic food would be the first step to lower the consumption of more chemicals in the body.Also avoid having too much of dairy products and meat as the animals are mostlyfed genetically modified food or GMO rich feeds.
Pectin rich food like citrus fruits, bananas, carrots, cabbage and apples are great for detoxifying pesticides from the body. Pectin,in its purest form is present in fruits and vegetables. It helps in flushing out the toxins in our body. Regular consumption of these fruits will give you the best results.
Another way of flushing out pesticides and other heavy metals from the body is to take steam baths or saunas. This method has been used since ages and is considered very effective. The skin releases all the harmful impurities in the form of sweat and perspiration. Hence, make a trip to the sauna every other week to get maximum benefits. But remember to have a lot of water before and after, as the body gets dehydrated after steam baths.

Some foods that are rich in fibre content are potatoes with skin, whole fruits and vegetables, whole grains and cereals, nuts etc.

Exercising regularly is very important as it helps in leading an active life and also detoxifying. You ask how? Exercising for even half an hour can circulate blood to our kidneys and liver. These organs help in detoxifying the body.
Exercising also makes us sweat and the skin, as we know is the best possible medium to release all the toxins from the body.
Drinking water is the best way to detoxify. It hydrates and flushes out the impurities from our system. Drinking 6 to 8 glasses of water every day is mandatory. Increase the intake when detoxifying and make sure the water you are having is purified.
Having a diet of just vegetable juice will also help you get rid of pesticides from the body. Other forms of liquid that you can have are teas (without milk or sugar) and tender coconut water. Do this once every month. This diet is not recommended for diabetics and pregnant women.
