Eggs are the best chosen diet by people who are conscious of their weight as it contains on 80 calories and about 5 grams of fat.

Eggs, known as the alpha source of protein goes out to help in building of bones along with the muscles, cartilage, skin and bones! Not only that, the protein in eggs is vital for the creation of hormones, enzymes and other chemicals needed by the body. Riboflavin and Vitamin B2 are the major constituents of eggs as both being water soluble vitamins need to be replenished from time to time. They are also necessary in other to ensure the proper working of the vital metabolic system of the body such as the cell working, growth as well as the energy production.

Eggs are also a rich source of amino acids which helps in the prevention of the blood clots, strokes and heart diseases. The egg yolk (the yellow region) inside the egg is a rich source of choline, which is determined to help the regulation of the brain functions and cardiovascular system management.

Though it is a known myth that eating eggs can increase the risk of heart disease. One egg contains just 5 grams of fat and only 1.5 grams of that fat is the unsaturated fat, which is mainly found in the egg yolk, so egg lovers can remove that portion. Eggs are the only known food that provides us with Vitamin D. In a scientific research, it has been proved that a woman who consumes eggs over the week has proved to have a 44% less risk of suffering from breast cancer.

Apart from the health benefits of the organs, eggs are also known to promote the healthy growth of hair and nails due to the high content of sulphur along with many assorted vitamins!

So, now is the time to adopt the golden rule – an egg a day, keeps the doctor away!
