Butt Acne is a condition which affects women all over the world. How often have you run your hand along the back side to find that the skin is riddled with pimples? If you think that you are the only woman suffering from this condition, then it is wrong. Millions of women all over the world suffer from Butt Acne. This little bumps or pimples are caused by the dead skin cells and the bacteria which are accumulated in the hair follicles. Women who work out and are actively indulged in sports are more prone of suffering from Butt Acne as compared to their counterparts. However, the good news is that you can get rid of the butt acne by the following ways:

Benzoyl Peroxide Body Wash:

In order to get rid of the bumps, it is recommended to use a body wash consisting of Benzoyl peroxide. Usually, this ingredient is used for the treatment of zits; however it can get rid of the pimples on your butt by removing the dead cells which clog the hair follicles.

Salicylic Acid:

Salicylic Acid has been long associated with the treatment of acne. You can reduce the chances of the development of this acne in the future by applying Salicylic acid pads over the affected region. The acid works well over the acne and the infected follicles and cleanses them from the inside out.

Lactic Acid Lotion:

Pimples and lotion – not a good combination. However, think twice. Using Lactic Acid lotion over the affected region is going to exfoliate the dead skin cells and helps you to get rid of the bumpy protrusions.

Showering Off Regularly:

Since butt acne is more common amongst women who indulge in strenuous physical activities, it is recommended to take a shower after every gym session that you indulge in. Showering right after you work out makes sure that you do not sit around in your sweaty clothes which are a perfect breeding spot for the bacteria. Use a loofah, puff or a cleansing brush in order to get rid of the grime, sweat or the dead skin cells which have accumulated over your skin.
