There was once a time, when infertility was considered to be a curse by women in India. They were often shown the boot and were left to hear the accusations from the society. However, with the coming of the IVF Treatment in India, a lot has changed over the years. Women have been able to conceive and reproduce with the help of life changing treatment options and it has given them with a new hope to move towards a new direction. IVF stands for In Vitro Fertilization and has come up to be one of the biggest hubs for IVF Treatment in India. We spoke to some of the

IVF Specialists

to learn more about the course of treatment which is now available to a large number of women in India.

Fertility Clinics

have been making available IVF Treatment to couples who are unable to conceive naturally.

Fertility Specialists

are of the view that IVF treatment is used in order to combine the egg and the sperm outside the body in a lab. This fertilized egg is then raised in a special environment for some days before implanting it artificially into the uterus of the women in a chance that the pregnancy would occur. The fertilized egg is transferred to the body of the receptive woman with the help of the procedure of embryo transfer.

Infertility Clinics

are of a view that a large number of couples are coming forward to gain the treatment and make the most of the treatment. There are various different approaches towards treatment available. Some of these can be the simplest ones such as Ovulation Induction or IUI (Intra Uterine Insemination) or some of the most complex ones such as the IVF or ICSI.

Some of the

best IVF Doctors

are of the view that these treatments are easy to do and have a high success rate. These

Reproductive Medicine Centers

make sure that you have the support of the local fertility Specialists who make use of the most advanced science and technology along with effective fertility treatments to make a woman fertile. Infertility Clinics often go in for testing both the couples before initiating the treatment course. They also have a donor program intact in which a reliable and suitable donor donates his sperm in order to fertilize the women who are unable to conceive from their own partners due to low sperm count.

Infertility Clinics

use techniques such as Ovulation Cycle Tracking, Ovulation Induction, Artificial Insemination, ICSI Treatment, Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET), Fertility Surgery and Digital High Magnification to go about and help with the IVF Treatment. Often the journey to parenthood does not take as less time as it seems to be. Artificial Insemination uses inserting prepared sperm into the uterus of the female during the time of ovulation.

IVF Specialists

go about stimulating the ovaries, collecting the eggs, fertilizing them and then facilitating the embryo transfer. The ovaries are stimulated to produce more than one egg per cycle, which helps the doctors to collect more than one egg at a time. The development of these eggs is monitored with the help of blood tests and ultrasounds from time to time.

Fertility Clinics

then go on to collect the eggs by placing an ultrasound probe into the vagina of the women. A fine needle is passed through the vagina into the ovaries and the eggs are collected. The IVF Specialists then mix the eggs with a sample of the semen and wait for the zygote or the pre-embryo to form. When this is done, within 2-5 days, they are placed into an incubator when they are allowed to grow and divide.

The last stage of the IVF Stage is to transfer the embryo into the womb of the woman during an appropriate time in her menstrual cycle. A catheter is allowed to go in through the cervix with the help of an ultrasound. The transfer of the embryo is a painless procedure and does not involve the use of an anesthetic. One or two embryos are implanted at one time. Within two weeks, the woman is able to know if she is pregnant or not.

IVF Specialists

are of a view that the procedure is very safe and has been able to provide positive results a lot of couples. The treatment is also very safe and does not cause any side effect to the woman. There is a very less chance of birth defects in the child, though an increased amount of estrogen may lead to tenderness of the breasts, nausea, dizziness and abdominal swelling in some cases. The treatment has been a ray of hope for countless couples who have been otherwise unable to conceive!
