Pomegranate Juice is an easy tart and makes for a tasty drink which can be prepared and consumed in a jiffy. Here are some easy and detailed steps which can help you to prepare your very own glass of refreshing Pomegranate Juice in a couple of minutes:


1 Pomegranate

1 cup or 240 ml of water

Sugar, to taste

Method for Preparation:

  1. Cut open a pomegranate and then submerge it completely in a bowl full of water.
  2. After adding the pomegranate to the bowl, start removing the seeds under water and the seeds will start sinking at the bottom, leaving the yellow or whitish membrane floating on the surface.
  3. Make sure that you get rid of the peel and the membranes of the fruit.
  4. Strain the water out of the seeds and add this to a blender. Turn your blender for a couple of times in order to make sure that the seeds have been broken down completely.
  5. Place a mesh strainer over the bowel and pour the mixture from the blender into a glass through a strainer. Use something to press the pulp against the strainer and extract as much juice as you can.
  6. As per your taste add around 1/3 cups of sugar for around 1 ½ cups of juice. This is going to help make the drink sweeter for you.
  7. Add some water to the juice and it’s ready to be consumed!

There is nothing wrong to say that Pomegranates are one of the most under rated natural foods found in nature. The applications and the uses of Pomegranates are so many and then it is also a great source of antioxidants, which makes it one of the best frtuits. Thank you for sharing this in depth knowledge. My grandmother used to remarke that the only good use of Pomegranate for skin was that it could be rubbed over to act as a natural blush. now I know that I can prove her to be wrong on so many levels.
