Most women think that once they’ve delivered their baby, their skin is just going to get back to normal without any work. However, they are left with loose skin and a flabby belly after the delivery. So, how can you get back your perfect shape and shed all that post baby weight? Here are some of the best ways to loosen your skin after you’ve delivered your baby.
- Try losing weight slowly: If you want to get back to your shape, you need to lose your body weight. Though you might be anxious to lose your weight as quickly as possible, one of the best ways to do is by going the healthy way. If you try the hasty way out, you are going to lose both fat and muscle. Muscle is very necessary in order to keep your stomach in its right shape. Allow your skin the right time to gain back its elasticity and try losing around 1-2 lbs per week.
- Cardio Exercises: You cannot spot and reduce weight from just one part of your body. If you are aiming to burn your body fat, you need to burn it all over. If you want your tummy back in shape, try going in for cardiovascular exercises for at least 20 minutes every day.
- Proteins: Proteins help your body to build up all the lost muscles. Not only are proteins amazing for your muscle growth, but they are also going to provide your body with collagen, which helps in the growth of our skin. Most women require around 50 grams of protein every day.
- Massage and Lotion: Using a lotion which is rich in collagen as well as Vitamins such as E, A, C and K is going to help to firm up your loose skin. Apply the lotion and try massaging it all over your skin. This is going to improve the blood flow to the area and helps to make your skin appear firmer than before. Try massaging the lotion twice a day in order to get the best results.
