So, here are a few suggestions from the medical experts and seasoned travelers as to how we can get you there.

  • Overcoming Jet Lag: While travelling through every time zone, your body needs to overcome a day to catch up. The best way to travel is to start shifting your sleep schedule before you leave for your destination. This way, upon arrival, you can get out in the sun – in the early morning if you have travelled east and later afternoon if you have travelled to the west. Melatonin can also help you to get over Jet Lag. Just take 3 milligrams during bedtime on your eastward trips and 0.5 milligrams on your westward travels.
  • Overcoming Motion Sickness: It does not matter if you are travelling on a plane, a boat; a car or a train, there is only one major cause of motion sickness. Your brain is conflicting information that is coming from the eyes, ears and your joints. The best way to overcome motion sickness is to keep your head as still as possible and to look at something far away. Try avoiding reading or staring at objects nearby. If you are on a cruise, the best way is to go out and get some fresh air on the deck. Try opting for a cabin on the lower level and in the middle of the ship in order to minimize the chances of rocking motion.
  • Overcoming Stomach Problems: Norovirus is the bug which is frequently responsible for causing cringe inducing gastrointestinal outbreaks. This virus is known to survive on the door handles and other surfaces for weeks. Therefore, wash your hands through roughly as many times as you can. Soap and hot water is more effective as compared to alcohol based hand sanitizers. If you suffer from constipation, make sure to drink a glass of water every hour while you are travelling. It will help the things to move along more smoothly. Carrying a small amount of Magnesium Supplements can also help you in order to get rid of Constipation.
  • Overcoming Ear Pain: While travelling, yawning or chewing gum is known to pop your ears. However, if your ears are severely plugged, consider delaying your flight.
