In the traditional Ayurveda, the Charak Samhita describes right different kinds of bodies that are prone to diseases. It is recommended to eat the least amount of calories during the course of your dinner. Also, the number of calories being consumed in a day should be measured in order to get the chart on track. Here are some recommendations regarding your meals:
Breakfast: Breakfast should contain easy to digest foods such as Oat meals, cereal and fresh fruits. Egg yolks are not recommended during breakfast as they are quite hard to digest.
Lunch: Lunch should be your largest meal of the day and can contain heavy foods such as eggs, cheese and meat.
Dinner: During dinnertime, your digestive system is the weakest and therefore, it should be the lightest and smallest meal of your day. Dinner should ideally contain small portions of food such as soups or cooked vegetables. Dinner should not be consumed after 7 p.m as the digestive system of the body tends to become weaker during the night time and the body cannot process any more food, which is then turned to toxins and is stored in the fat cells ultimately.
4) Adding Curry Powder to Meals:
Adding curry powder to your meals is a great way to lose weight. Ayurveda tends to recognize six major tastes – sweet, salty, bitter, sour, astringent and pungent. Ayurveda points out that in order to feel satisfied during meal times and to eat less food, it is recommended to have all the six major food tastes in your mouth. These six tastes also work well in order to improve your digestion and help to melt down the fat in your body. An average every day diet only contains three major tastes – sweet, sour and salty. Curry powder, when added to food tends to add all the six major tastes in your food. This provides a full flavor to your food. Ayurvedic Churnas are also a great way in order to incorporate these tastes into your food. These churnas have the blend of all these tastes and tend to make your meals better. You can make a special blend of your own by following this method:
In a grinder, mix the following items for your ideal churan:
5 tsp coriander seeds
1 tsp fenugreek seeds
1 large bay leaf
Half tsp cumin seeds
Half tsp mustard seeds
One small cinnamon stick
2 tsp turmeric powder
5) Garcinia Cambogia or Vrikshamla
This is a very popular ingredient which is used in Ayurveda for the ideal weight loss. This ingredient contains Hydroxycitric acid, which helps to curb down the accumulation of the fat in the body. Some recent studies have also suggested that this herb is used in order to moderate the activities of the genes which have been associated with the synthesis of the fat.
6) Commiphora Mukul Resin or Guggul
This resin is commonly known as Guggul and is a powerful fat burner. It helps to correct the lipid disorders in the body and also treats obesity. It also helps to lower the amount of total cholesterol in the body, the low density lipoprotein as well as the bad cholesterol or the triglycerides. Guggul is even known to elevate the concentration of the high density lipoprotein or the good cholesterol in the body.
7) Ginger or Zingiber Officinale
Ginger is quite well known when it comes to assisting with the weight loss. Trials have been done to reduce the amount of abdominal fat with the help of Licorice. Flavanoids found in Licorice are known to inhibit the oxidation of the fatty acids in the body. They also help to reduce the amounts of triglycerides in the liver and the blood.

In my opinion also, Ayurveda is the best way to lose weight. Otherwise, if we are going to rely on medications which are allopatic in nature, then we are only going to gain more weight, not lose some. I think this is the best and the most suitable approach towards losing weight.

In my opinion, Ayurveda is the best way to get rid of all your problems. The techniques used by Ayurveda are just amazing and have no side effects at all. Plus, we Indians should make the most of the things which have been made available to us for a long time now.
If you cant find answers for weight loss in medicines or in exercises, it is recommended to go in for and try ayurveda!
