People suffering from Gout are not recommended to consume Shilajit. This can increase the amount of Uric Acid on the body. When used in a correct dose and amount, Shialjit is not known to cause any major side effect. However, in some cases when people do take in Iron supplements along with Shilajit, it could lead the building up of an excessive amount of Iron in the blood.
Side effects of the herb can be caused due to using a low quality product or something which claims to be the original herb, but is not. You should always be aware before buying the supplements in the market. Some of these are known to contain fertilizers and toxic heavy metals. Excellent product, getting used to it already after taking it for more than a month. I can tell the way I feel that this supplement is good. Im a healthy person , I exercise regularly and eat the right kind of food, but adding Shilajit to my regimen made it even better. It boost my energy and stamina, clarity of mind and just feeling of strong mind and body. When I was growing up , my grand-mom had this herbal medicine box. Once in a while I used to sit down with her and learn more about the herbs she had. So every-time she opened the box, this peculiar smell used to ooze out. It's no surprise to me that that smell was from the Shilajit!! A lot of people do not know about this. But in Sanskrit Shila= Mountain/ Jeet(or Jit)= To Win!! So Shilajit either means you'll have power like mountain or the substance that came breakingthe mountain.
Dose: I take it once a day, I pinch it out, "Lemon seed size", roll it and drink it with water. Sometime with honey!!
I started using Shilajit over a year ago after hearing someone recommend it to me. After about 6 weeks of use the arthritis in my hands was gone and I've had no recurrence. I've recommended it to friends and family and all report similarly positive results.

I am actually extremely impressed with the over potency of this Shilajit. I have actually been using this for about a month now and have noticed a HUGE difference in my ability to focus better, my energy level has sky rocketed. After reading the directions thoroughly I thought it would be best to use a peanut size every other day, first thing in the morning. It does take some time to get used to the smell and taste.
This is really easy to handle as I have heard most it can be hard to work with. You can just take a pinch out and roll it into a ball and consume it this way. I recommend under the tongue

I love Shilajit! I have more energy now and I stay on task!
