What are the symptoms of a Tubal Pregnancy

Tubal Pregnancies tend to be harmful for both the baby and the mother to be. Early detection of the pregnancy provides the best chance in order to minimize the complication caused by the same.

Tubal Pregnancy is also known as Ectopic Pregnancy and occurs when the fertilized egg implants itself within the fallopian tube. Tubal Pregnancy is one of the leading causes of maternal death all over the world. Around 2% of all early pregnancies are ectopic in nature.

Detecting the situation is going to make the complications of the pregnancy less likely and less harmful for the mother. The major symptoms of Tubal pregnancy tend to show up after six to eight weeks after missing the first period. However, in some other cases it may be later on, depending on the region where the blastocyst has implanted itself.

The major and early symptoms of Tubal or Ectopic Pregnancy are as follows:

  • Tenderness of the breast
  • Excessive fatigue
  • Missing of the periods
  • Nausea
  • Positive Pregnancy Test
