Though it could be hard to believe for some people, it does work. I applied Vicks at the bottom of my baby’s feet and within 10 minutes she was asleep and stopped coughing. Now she has been asleep for more than 3 hours and this is amazing. It does work very well.

Yes, it does work very well in case of babies. I applied Vicks on the base of my child’s feet and it works. She was able to sleep peacefully for the rest of the night without coughing. It helps.

I was quite skeptical about this treatment method at first, but to my amazement, it works. I applied it to the base of my 9 month old boy and he was able to sleep throughout the night without any cough of any sort. He was suffering from fever and a congested throat, but he did not even utter a peep for the rest of the night. Works wonders!

Vicks Vaporub is NOT meant for children and babies under age the age of 2 years especially for nasl congeston. Any menthol and camphor based product like Vicks Vaporub is toxic and can be harmful to a babies' respiratory system. Recent studies have found that putting Vicks Vaporub under a child’s nose actually makes it harder for the child to breathe. Moreover, it can lead to increase in mucus and congestion, especially in children who have narrow airways when compared to adults
